Main research areas:

The research area within which the specific directions of research carried out in the Division of Basic Sciences are undertaken covers issues related to microbiology and biochemistry. Research conducted at the Division of Basic Sciences covers issues in the field of bacteriology, with particular emphasis on Chlamydia and Chlamydophila microorganisms, improvement of diagnostic methods and biochemical research.
