European Trauma Course

The Medical Simulation Center of the Wroclaw University of Medical Sciences invites you to the next edition of the European Trauma Course (ETC), which will run from October 7 to 9.

The European Trauma Course is a multidisciplinary, advanced course certified by international medical organizations and societies (European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery - ESTES; European Society for Emergency Medicine - EUSEM; European Resuscitation Council - ERC; and European Society of Anesthesiology - ESA).

The ETC provides training in trauma management, with an emphasis on teamwork and non-technical skills, such as cooperation and group leadership, task completion, decision-making, anticipating risks, and effective communication within the team and with the patient.

The course is addressed to specialists and physicians in the course of specialization (all modes) in general surgery, pediatric surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, urology and pediatric urology, anesthesiology and intensive care, and emergency medicine.

Participation in the classes is free of charge. Recruitment continues until September 3 this year.

The training is funded by the European Union under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020.
