Pharmacy year III, semester VI (summer)
in the academic year 2022/2023

MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY EXAMINATION

Second exam date - 29 August 2023 (Tuesday) at 10:00.
Lists of students taking the exam on the second date broken down by exam room are provided below.

Third exam date - 11 September 2023 (Monday) at 9:00.

It is going to be a written exam and will last 2 hours (120 minutes), for those who are taking the exam that covers the whole material. In the case of the persons exempted from the material covering one lecture test the exam will last 1.5 hours (90 minutes), and in the case of those exempted from the material covering two lecture tests the exam will last 1 hour (60 minutes).
Please be ready in front of the designated exam room 15 minutes before the advised examination time and please make sure that you have your ID with you. You are allowed to bring only a pen and water to the exam. You are not allowed to have any electronic devices such as a smartphone or smartwatch with you, even if they are switched off; they can be left in your bag or on the examiner's desk.
The drugs mandatory for the exam are listed below. You should be able to classify the listed drugs into the appropriate pharmaco-chemical groups, know their chemical structures, chemical names, synonyms, mechanisms of action, pharmacological effects, application and structure-activity relationship (SAR).

The results of the exam taken on the first date can be found in the file below.
The final grades (calculated taking into account the grades from the practical exam) of those who passed the Chemistry of Drugs exam on the first approach can be found in the file below.

Zakres wiedzy wymaganej:

  • klasyfikacja metod chromatograficznych,
  • podstawy teoretyczne procesu chromatograficznego,
  • aparatura do HPLC,
  • wypełnienia kolumn do HPLC (fazy stacjonarne),
  • fazy ruchome w HPLC,
  • zastosowanie metody HPLC w analizie leku.
