EGZAMIN  dla studentów VI roku odbędzie się :

1. Egzamin testowy dla studentów PL w dniu 07.02.2025r. w Auli Jana Pawła II w godzinach 8.00-14.00
2. Egzamin testowy dla studentów ED w dniu 04.02.2025r. w Auli Jana Pawła II w godzinach 8.00-10.00
3. Egzamin OSCE w dniach 06.02.2025-14.02.2025 w Centrum Symulacji Medycznej  w godzinach 8.30-19.00

REGULAMIN JEDNOSTKI:
1. Na pierwszych zajęciach studenci zostają zaznajomieni z:
  - regulaminem bezpieczeństwa
  - planem i tematyką ćwiczeń
  - warunkami zaliczenia ćwiczeń
  - topografią Kliniki.
2. W pierwszym dniu ćwiczeń zostaje wyznaczony wspólnie przez prowadzącego i studentów grupy starosta grupy reprezentujący studentów i odpowiedzialny przestrzeganie regulaminu ćwiczeń oraz kontaktującego się w razie potrzeby z adiunktem dydaktycznym.
3. Ćwiczenia odbywają się w godzinach określonych w harmonogramie ćwiczeń . Harmonogram tygodniowy wywieszonym jest naprzeciw sekretariatu Katedry oraz zamieszczony na stronie internetowej WU Kliniki Ginekologii Operacyjnej i Onkologicznej
4. Uczestnictwo studenta w zajęciach objętych planem studiów jest obowiązkowe oraz kontrolowane. Student może opuścić w ciągu roku akademickiego do 10% zajęć obowiązkowych z danego przedmiotu bez usprawiedliwienia i bez konieczności ich odrabiania. Każda kolejna nieobecność na zajęciach, wymaga usprawiedliwienia i odrobienia zajęć niezwłocznie po ustaniu przyczyny nieobecności.
5. Tematyka ćwiczeń jest realizowana zgodnie z planem ćwiczeń wywieszonym naprzeciw sekretariatu Katedry i zamieszczonym na stronie internetowej Kliniki Ginekologii Operacyjnej i Onkologicznej

6. Studenci są zobowiązani do przynoszenia na ćwiczenia dzienniczka umiejętności praktycznych.
7. Zaliczenie ćwiczeń odbywa się na podstawie obecności na zajęciach i pozytywnego ich zaliczenia poprzez przygotowanie prezentacji lub odpowiedź ustną u prowadzącego. 
8. Przedmiot Ginekologia i Położnictwo kończy się egzaminem na VI roku w sesji zimowej i składa z dwóch etapów. Pierwszy etap to egzamin testowy (90 pytań jednokrotnego wyboru). Drugi etap to egzamin OSCE (w Centrum Symulacji Medycznej).  Warunkiem dopuszczenia do egzaminu jest zaliczenie wszystkich ćwiczeń. Ocena z  egzaminu to średnia z ocen uzyskanych na poszczególnych etapach egzaminu.

Clinical Department of Ginecologic Surgery and Oncology

Main research areas:

1. Gynaecological oncology – surgical treatment of female genital tumours
2. Urogynaecology – diagnosis and therapy of pelvic floor static disorders and urinary incontinence
3. Reproductive medicine – diagnosis of partner infertility and endoscopic treatment of female factor in minimally invasive pelvic surgery
4. Fertility preservation in women undergoing cancer treatment (Oncofertility)
5. Clinical issues in endometriosis – research into the mechanisms of formation and the search for new diagnostic methods

CLINICAL ACTIVITIES:

The Unit's core clinical activities as a surgical gynaecology division include surgical treatment in the areas of gynaecological oncology, urogynaecology and gynaecological endoscopy.

As part of gynaecological oncology, extensive surgical procedures for malignant female genital tumours are performed in the Clinic, with the possibility of working as part of a multidisciplinary team and the prospect of using robotic surgery in the near future.

In urogynaecology, the Clinic focuses on the development of “sling” surgery for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence and vaginal and laparoscopic suspension surgery for female genital static disorders – one of the major civilisation disorders of our time.

In the field of gynaecological endoscopy, advanced laparoscopic surgeries and hysteroscopic surgeries are performed at the clinic, which allows the range of surgical treatment options in gynaecology to be significantly expanded to include minimally invasive pelvic surgery, which is important especially in reproductive medicine.

The development of counselling and treatment activities in the field of “oncofertility” is planned for the near future, in view of the steadily increasing number of women wishing to preserve their fertility prior to planned oncology, haematology and gonadotoxic drug therapy.

EXAM for 6th year students will take place:
1. Test exam on February 4, 2025. in the John Paul II Hall from 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m
2. OSCE exam on February 6, 2024 - February 7, 2025 at the Medical Simulation Center  from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

UNIT REGULATIONS:
1. During the first classes, students are introduced to:
 - safety regulations
 - plan and topics of exercises
 - conditions for passing the exercises
 - topography of the Cathedral and Clinic.
2. On the first day of the exercises, a starosta of the group is appointed together by the instructor and the students of the group, representing the students and responsible for observing the regulations of the exercises and contacting the teaching assistant professor if necessary.
3. Exercises take place at times specified in the exercise schedule. The schedule is posted in front of the seminar room and posted on the website of the University.
4. Student participation in classes included in the study plan is obligatory and controlled. A student may miss up to 10% of compulsory classes in a given subject during the academic year without justification and without having to make up for them. Each subsequent absence from classes must be justified and the classes must be made up immediately after the reason for the absence is determined.
5. The topics of the exercises are carried out in accordance with the exercise plan posted in front of the seminar room and posted on the website of the Clinical Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
6. Students are obliged to bring a practical skills diary to classes.
7. Passing the exercises is based on attendance at the classes and positive completion of the classes by preparing a presentation or giving an oral answer to the teacher.
8. The subject of Gynecology and Obstetrics ends with an exam in the 6th year in the winter session and consists of two stages. The first stage is a test exam (90 multiple choice questions). The second stage is the OSCE exam (at the Medical Simulation Center). The condition for admission to the exam is to pass all exercises. The exam grade is the average of the grades obtained at individual stages of the exam.
