First place of our graduates in LDEK

In the autumn session of the Medical and Dental Final Examination, graduates of the Wroclaw University of Medical Sciences were spectacularly successful, ranking first in the country with an average score of 157.28.

According to data from the Center for Medical Examinations in Lodz, which includes aggregate results, out of 106 UMW examinees, as many as 104 passed the tests, with the best result being 186 points scored. Dentists - UMW graduates - passing the LDEK for the first time were also the best in Poland.

- This success is proof that carefully thought-out strategies and the commitment of the entire team can bring the expected results," says Professor Marcin Mikulewicz, dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at UMW. - Taking first place in the LDEK is not only a source of deep satisfaction, but also a confirmation of the effectiveness of the initiatives taken. This is a major achievement and proof that we are moving in the right direction.

According to the CEM, 973 people nationwide took the Medical and Dental Final Examination in the fall session of 2023, scoring an average of 157.28 points. The maximum score was 187, and the minimum was 50 points. Fifty-three passers scored below 56 percent.
