Orientation Day 2024

This academic year, nearly 140 students from the English Division, representing a diverse range of countries, including: Japan, Ireland, Myanmar, India, Norway, Germany, and Canada, are commencing their studies at Wroclaw Medical University.

During Orientation Day 2024, the Vice-Dean for English Language Education, Dr. Katarzyna Neubauer, warmly welcomed all the students and celebrated their achievement of receiving their university index numbers. She happily noted that they are now part of the best medical university in Poland, as highlighted in international rankings!

She expressed her hope that the students will quickly integrate into our community and actively engage in the events scheduled for the upcoming months. Dr. Zygmunt Domagała, the tutor of the first year, also welcomed the students.

In the second part of the meeting, key information about the course of study was provided by the head of the Dean's Office, Dr. Magdalena Kűbler, and the members of the English Division Office: Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk-Prażmo, Agnieszka Tołściuk, Karina Michlik, Patrycja Markiewicz, Ola Głuch, Zuzanna Dyrcz and Kacper Panasiuk.

It was lovely to see some senior students from the International Students Council there too, as well as some graduates from last year, all eager to support our first-year students!
