Department of Emergency Medical Service

The employees of the Division of Emergency Medical Service conduct didactic classes for students of emergency medicine, nursing and obstetrics, public health, physiotherapy and students from the Faculty of Medicine, including the English Division, as well as classes for medical practitioners undergoing specialisation in emergency medicine.

The Division of Emergency Medical Service employs specialists in emergency medicine, anaesthesiology and intensive care, internal medicine, cardiology, surgery and gynaecology, experienced paramedics, instructors and directors of European Resuscitation Council/American Heart Association (ERC/AHA) courses.

The employees of the Division conduct a number of didactic activities as part of postgraduate education, conduct courses for medical practitioners specialising in different fields of medicine, educate paramedics and doctors and conduct courses organised by Wroclaw Medical University, Postgraduate Medical Education Centre and the Lower Silesia Chamber of Physicians in Wrocław.

For many years, the Division of Emergency Medical Service has been the organiser or co-organiser of a number of scientific conferences, including international conferences.
