The Clinical Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology and Hand Surgery currently conducts teaching activities at the following faculties of the Wroclaw Medical University:

Teaching activities includes lectures, clinical exercises and seminars.

Teaching regulations of the Clinical Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology and Hand Surgery

Only students listed by the Deans on the student lists may be admitted to classes. Only students included by the Deans on the examination and credit lists are allowed to take exams and credit tests.

The student is obliged to prepare for each subsequent class covering the applicable material in accordance with the submitted course syllabus.

The condition for passing the classes is a positive verification of knowledge of the educational content through an oral answer during clinical exercises, covering the topics discussed during classes and seminars and included in the recommended textbooks.

The condition for passing the course is to provide >= 60% (minimum 36) correct answers to the exam - a final test consisting of 60 closed, single-choice questions from answers A-E.

The exam results are posted on the notice board of the Clinical Department of Orthopedics, Traumatology and Hand Surgery (next to the Clinic's secretariat). The results are provided in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act, without mentioning names, but only by index numbers.

1. During didactic classes at the Department of Trauma Surgery for students of the Faculty of Medicine and for students of the English Division, general health and safety regulations are applicable in accordance with the regulations of the Wroclaw Medical University and University Hospital
2. During classes, each student should wear protective clothing and gloves
3. Students are obliged to observe the rules of their own safety and that of patients in accordance with sanitary and epidemiological recommendations
4. Examination of patients is carried out only in a place designated by the assistant and under his personal supervision
5. Students are forbidden to independently make decisions about the procedure
