OPTIONAL SUBJECT
PARENTERAL AND ENTERAL NUTRITION
at the 2nd Department of General and Oncological Surgery
academic year 2014/2015
The subject deals with diagnosing and managing malnourished patients
and all those who require artificial feeding in various clinical situations.
The course is intended for 4th, 5th and 6th year students of the Faculty of Medicine,
and comprises 30 hours (1.5 ECTS points) in one semester (winter or summer, to choose).
The course will be held:
a) on selected Saturdays in the form of two series of seminars, form 10.00 to 14.30
in the seminar room of the 2nd Department of General and Oncological Surgery
(Borowska 213, building B, 4th floor)
b) and the rest of the course (between the two meetings) as e-learning on the Internet.
The second meeting ends with a final test for credit.
