Practical Training (Summer Internship) in Poland
Dear Students,
To register for your internship (the Practical Training) offered by our university, please contact your representative between 20.05 and 26.05.2024 - they have already received the enrolment forms. The list of available spots is available at the bottom of this website.
Please also note that the forms will be verified by the ED Office Team in accordance with the pre-list provided.
After this date, the enrolment will be available at the ED Office through your Administrative Supervisor.
Before applying, please read carefully the information and the important guidelines provided by the hospitals. Please also check the Practical Training website of the Faculty of Medicine – English Division for further information. Last but not least, please download the appropriate programme for the Practical Training from the ED website and print it on both sides (1 sheet).
It is important to note that you will not be allowed to arrange the Practical Training through the University if you do not have the valid medical certificates (done by an occupational doctor in Poland and the sanitary-epidemiological laboratory) and the NNW insurance. Please check the validity of your certificates in your Virtual University and if you have any questions, please contact your administrative supervisor at the Dean’s office.
Please be informed that the Practical Training for the students of the Medical University of Wroclaw is organized by the University in accordance with the Regulation No. 28/XV R/2020 of the Rector of the Medical University of Wroclaw of 29 January 2020, as amended, during the summer holidays in Poland in the health care units, which the University has signed contracts or agreements with. The University does not sign any other agreements. As part of the agreement, the University provides you with the Civil Liability Insurance (OC) but you must purchase the Accident Insurance yourself (NNW).
Once you have completed your Practical Training programmes, please submit the forms to the Dean’s Office by 7th October 2024 at the latest. It is important to ensure that the following details are included on the certificate after the internship completion: the date and the place of the internship, the stamp of the unit where the internship took place, the stamp and the signature of the person completing the internship.
As always, do not hesitate to contact your admin supervisor, should you require any further details.
With kind regards,
ED Office Team
