University Hospital in Wroclaw (USK) as the first and so far the only hospital in Poland has achieved international accreditation DIAS. The certificate confirms the high quality of services and increase the chances of obtaining international clinical trials. Certification granted for three years. It confirms that the hospital is progressing in line with best international standards and practices. DNV international accreditation standard for hospitals (DIAS - DNV International Accreditation Standard for the Hospital Organisations) obliges the individual to implement facility-wide activities related to quality assessment and improvement of the results. DNV (Det Norske Veritas) is a global organization of medical institutions, which has more than 8600 members in over one hundred countries.
