University Statement

Dear Sir or Madam,

In response to reports appearing online, we would like to state that Wroclaw Medical University has been, and remains, in solidarity with its student, Kareem, recognizing and appreciating his active social engagement.

At the same time, as a medical university, we are responsible for the quality of education and the safety of future patients. Completing a medical degree requires passing all courses included in the study program, including practical classes, as well as the required examinations.

We have offered the student specific solutions to help him make up the missing coursework. Confirmation of graduation will be possible once these requirements have been met.

These rules apply equally to everyone, regardless of origin, citizenship, views, or social engagement.
