Psychiatric Consultations

We would like to inform you that the University has established an agreement to provide psychiatric consultations for English Division students who currently do not have public health insurance coverage in Poland. 

The procedure is outlined below for your convenience:

1. Full-time students enrolled in the Medical, Dental or Nursing programme conducted in English, who do not have public health insurance in Poland (NFZ), are invited to send a request for a psychological consultation to Dr Anna Pałęga at: anna.palega@umw.edu.pl

2. Should the University psychologist issue a recommendation for a psychiatric consultation, students will need to submit this recommendation to the Student Affairs Office / Dział Spraw Studenckich to receive a referral letter for the consultation with a doctor. Student Affairs Office is located at ul. Wojciecha z Brudzewa 10, 51-601 Wrocław, inside DS Jubilatka dormitory. 

3. After obtaining the referral letter from the Student Affairs Office, students may reach out to the designated email address to schedule a consultation with a psychiatric specialist for further treatment.

Please note that this service is specifically available for ED students, while Polish students will be referred to psychiatrists covered by the National Health Fund (NFZ) based on their psychologist's recommendations.

Studenci mogą skorzystać z bezpłatnych porad i konsultacji psychologicznych, które odbywają się zarówno online, jak i na żywo w budynku Katedry Psychiatrii przy Wybrzeżu Pasteura 10.
