📢 The following changes to the Study Regulations apply from the 2026/2027 academic year:
Code of Ethics of the University Community – New Requirement (§8(4))
Students are required to comply with the Code of Ethics of the University Community.
Justification of Absences (§12)
The provisions regarding the justification of student absences have been clarified.
Examinations and Course Assessments (§26(9))
During all forms of course assessments and examinations, students are not permitted to bring or use mobile phones, cameras, or other electronic devices, or any accessories for such devices. Students are also not permitted to possess or use textbooks, notes, or similar materials, unless otherwise specified in the course syllabus.
Exception for Medical Devices: If a Student requires a special device for health reasons, they are required to inform the examiner and present a medical certificate.
Retake Tests (§29(5))
A student is entitled to two retake tests if they fail the final test for a course that concludes in a given semester and does not end with an examination.
Courses that conclude with an examination are subject to the examination retake rules.
Examination Security (§33(3))
A new requirement has been introduced for persons preparing examinations to ensure that examination materials are protected against unauthorized disclosure. In the event of unauthorized disclosure of examination materials, the Dean or the Dean of the Branch Campus is authorized to invalidate the examination.
Access to Assessed Work (§37(3))
The provisions regarding access to assessed work have been clarified. Students have the right to review each of their assessed written works and the answer key for the set of questions they answered within two weeks from the date of publication of the results, after arranging a time with the examiner or the course instructor.
In the case of tests, students have the right to review both the test questions and the answer key for the set of questions they answered within two weeks from the date of publication of the results, after arranging a time with the examiner or the course instructor.
