Student Practical Training
The Practical Training for students of Wrocław Medical University is organised by the University in accordance with the Regulation No. 28/XV R/2020 of the Rector of the Medical University in Wrocław of January 29, 2020, as amended, in the summer, July-September.
GENERAL INFORMATION
You can complete your mandatory Practical Training in one of two ways:
- Through your own individual arrangements, either in Poland or abroad (internships you are organising on your own). This option is recommended if you already have a specific facility in mind, if you will not be in Wrocław during July, August, or September 2026, or if you need to secure exact dates well in advance due to travel plans, visa requirements, or other scheduling needs, since the University Hospital cannot guarantee specific dates and placements may be assigned randomly within the summer months.
- Through the University’s Hospital-based Practical Training, organised by the Dean’s Office.
When does Practical Training take place?
- July/August/September 2026.
- It cannot be completed during the academic year.
