Currently, cancer is one of the main causes of death. To meet the problems of today's world, we are engaged in research in the field of new therapies (e.g. chemotherapy (CT), electrochemotherapy (ECT), photodynamic therapy (PDT)) that can be used in oncology in the future. Through specialised molecular research, we are deepening and developing our interests in the field of cancer cell biology. The subject of our activity is the preparation, conduct and promotion of research projects on topics related to cancer cells.
Research projects underway:
-
The influence of cyanine dyes in photodynamic therapy on the autophagy process and the influence of chloroquine on the effectiveness of therapy on the melanoma cell line (C32) in an in vitro study - Natalia Lange
